NTT and Fujitsu announce alliance for development of 6G technology
NTT Docomo
signed an agreement to develop 6G technology through a business alliance with
Fujitsu, which owns the world's No. 1 supercomputer 'Fukaku'. This seems to be
the company's strategy to make up for the mobile communication technology that
lags behind in 5G through 6G, and the Japanese government is also actively
supporting it at the pan-government level.
NTT
Docomo aims to commercialize 6G mobile communication around 2030 by combining
optical and electrical signals through partnership with Fujitsu.
In addition
to this, NTT Docomo is forming a wide range of alliances with global
telecommunication companies including US companies to develop next-generation
telecommunication technology.
