LG Electronics' future car and 6G technology were unveiled at 'IEEE ICC'

LG Electronics unveiled 6G-related technologies, which are core technologies for future connectivity, at 'Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Conference on Communications (ICC) 2022' on the 17th. At this conference, LG Electronics introduced ▲ a power amplifier device for transmitting and receiving 6G terahertz (㎔) wireless data and ▲ Full Duplex Radio (FDR) transmission/reception technology that can maximize frequency efficiency.


In a keynote speech, Byung-hoon Kim, CTO of LG Electronics said, “We will strengthen our capabilities in various fields such as mobility, metaverse, and robots by increasing our competitiveness in 6G and AI technologies.”


LG Electronics exhibited its future car ‘LG Omnipot’ at the event. The LG Omnipot is a concept model of future mobility that interprets a vehicle as a newly expanded space of a home. It can be used as an office space or as a personal space where you can enjoy watching movies, exercising, camping, etc.
