We look forward that we can see the right direction for research and development,and gather wisdom for leading the 6G era when imagination becomes reality
By starting 5G R&D right after 4G’s commercialization in 2011 in Korea, we were able to create a good ecosystem where small and medium-sized enterprises can grow together with remarkable achievements such as the world’s first successful commercialization of 5G in April 2019. And now, the government launched a preliminary feasibility study on the 6G core technology development project, which will spend about 200 billion won over the next five years, with a vision of "leading the 6G era in which imagination becomes a reality,“ We are now expecting to preempt next-generation technologies, secure high value-added patents, and create a research and industry foundation through the faithful support of the 6G R&D strategy.-
