Business 2022-06-08

KT SAT's satellites and antennas enable communication services at any time anywhere in the sea, land or air, and the company is engaged in various overseas satellite launch projects.

Kyung-il Choi, CTO of KT SAT explained that the size of the communication network to be built is expected to increase in the 6G era, and that the satellite network should be added to the ground network in order to provide stable and fast communication services.

KT SAT also expressed its will to lead the market flow through international cooperation and satellite technology innovation in the space exploration competition ahead of the introduction of 6G.

Hancom Inc. announced on May 26 that its low-orbital earth-observing satellite 'Sejong 1' has entered its target orbit.

Hancom Group is also expanding its business to the field of communication infrastructure technology to keep pace with the era of 6G mobile communication, of which technology standardization is being progressed on the premise of using communication satellites. Hancom Inspace is expected to play a key role in this plan. On the 11th, the company was selected as the main operator of the 'Development of Ultra-Small Communication Satellite System for Demonstration of 6G Low-Orbital Communication' project among the space innovation projects of the Ministry of Science and ICT.
